WELCOME TO A TIME FOR PEACE
Holding the Frequency Through Transition
I provide compassionate support to the dying and their families through assistance with individualized care planning and loving presence before, during, and after the transition process.
Hi, I’m Alice Rogers — a Death Doula with a background in oncology, cancer support services, hospice care, and spiritual end-of-life support. My path began when I paused my nursing education to care for my sister during her cancer journey. That experience changed everything.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to holding space for others during some of life’s most sacred and difficult moments. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, trained and did research in traditional hospice care and symptom management, and became an End-of-Life/Death Doula through International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA).
Today, I support individuals and families with everything from symptom management and care-planning to emotional support and legacy work. Whether you're facing an immediate transition or preparing for the future, I’m here to guide with clarity, warmth, and deep compassion.
“When we speak of death, we take away its power to isolate.”
— Alice Rogers
Working with Those in Transition, Family and Community
-
Gentle, practical support to help you or your loved one prepare for what lies ahead. Together, we create space for honest conversation, emotional clarity, and a plan that reflects your wishes, values, and peace of mind.
-
Through collaboration with your care team, I help identify ways to ease discomfort and maintain quality of life — supporting comfort, calm, and dignity during the dying process.
-
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I help connect you with local and national resources — from hospice and grief support to home care and spiritual communities — ensuring that you and your family have what you need.
-
A personalized plan for how care will unfold in the final months, weeks, or days. We’ll map out priorities, preferences, and practical needs so that everyone involved feels informed, supported, and aligned.
-
End of life is not only a medical event — it’s emotional, spiritual, and relational. I help families and friends prepare for what to expect, find language for difficult moments, and create a network of care that holds everyone involved.
-
Every life tells a story. I help you express yours — through letters, art, recordings, or ritual — so that your values, memories, and love continue to speak long after you’re gone.
-
Grief is not a problem to solve, but a process to be witnessed. I offer compassionate listening and guidance as you find your way through loss, integrating what has changed while honoring what remains.
-
To sit vigil is to hold space with reverence and stillness. I offer calm presence and grounded support for the dying and their loved ones — keeping company through the threshold, with peace, respect, and love.
